Firstly...
You must first download a skin template, we have to formats to choose from:
pspimage which is the standard for Corel/Jasc Paint Shop Pro and
psd which is the standard for Adobe Photoshop

These formats will work with graphics applications like GIMP as well.
Template for Paintshop Pro
After opening the template you will see the template skin for REV1.7, in it
there are 4 layers, the first being the RuneOrb (the image of the Runecats logo
on the left hand side), the second being the MME bar which is more commonly
known as the Title bar in other applications.

The 3rd layer says it is recommend not to be edited, this is because it may
result in ugly graphics or buttons not displaying correctly.
However changing the colour of the border on this skin shouldn’t do any harm.

The 4th layer should never be edited as it is required to stay that cyan color.
That particular cyan color appears invisible in REV1.7, if you require any part
of your skin to be transparent then use this color.
Saving a finished product...
Once you finish your project save it as a 24 bit .bmp file. Make sure you
save it as Skin.bmp and ensure that  the “S” is in capital and the rest is in
lower case including the .bmp. Runecats Explorer skins are case sensitive
so it’s important to get it in the correct case.

If you are planning to upload your skin to CustoRune do check the skin to
Ensure that all buttons and text on it is displayed and is easily seen to
prevent it from getting rejected.

Have you checked it and the transparent parts are not transparent?

Make sure you are using the exact shade of cyan.

If you find colors via Hex then the code you will require is: #00ffff
If you find it via red, green, blue then R=0 G=255 B=255
If you find it via Hue, Saturation and Lightness then: H=127, S=255 and L=127
Making the MME (title) bar buttons...
MME (title) bar buttons Template
You must first download the MME bar buttons template, this will come in a
zipped bmp file (you will need to save your final products as bmp files).

You can open .bmp files in many graphic programs such as Paint, PhotoShop,
PaintShop Pro, GIMP and many more.
Making the standard buttons...
You must first download the standard buttons template, this will come in a

You can open .the .psd files in many graphic programs such as  PhotoShop,
PaintShop Pro, GIMP and many more.
Standard buttons Template
Standard Buttons work differently to the MME buttons, standard buttons only have 2 stages (Default and Over) so each standard button requires just 2 images each.

Which in hex code is: #787878
Row two has the transparency color of R=100 G=100 B=100

Once you are happy that each of your buttons look good after testing them you
can then upload them to CustoRune.

Please place all your buttons in a compressed folder such as a .zip file.

Your zip folder should include both states of all 11 buttons.

If you have made a main window skin please submit that separately to the
buttons. Please do not place the MME and Standard buttons in the same zip folder!
